Named one of DJ Mag’s artists to watch for February, recently featured on SiriusXM’s Chill channel, and following his recent Miami Music Week show with Black Coffee, Nico de Andrea now offers a special deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed debut artist album, Love Therapy.
Building on the theme of music being an important emotional outlet, the deluxe version (available digitally and as a high-quality vinyl) of Nico de Andrea’s debut album offers additional sonics to enrich the audial journey further. Three brand-new tracks, ‘Legion,’ ‘Lose Your Love’ (with Rony Seikaly), and ‘Kingston Groove,’ and various acoustic mixes tap further into the album’s themes of nostalgia, longing, passion, and hope, inspired by personal experiences of impossible love, conflict, and separation.
Focus track ‘Kingston Groove’ with Baron features Caribbean vocals from D-Prezzy and a tribal house bassline – all the makings for an ultimate dance floor groover. Elsewhere, several reworks and remixes of original tracks (by the likes of house music legend Harry Romero and elsewhere Paris-based duo Birds of Mind) bring the body of work alive on the dancefloor, already showcased in Nico’s sets across his hotly tipped North America tour that kicked off in NYC back in February with shows in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
